What is Retouch Studio?
Retouch Studio is a portrait photo editor for Mac: one-tap beauty, skin, face, body, background, hair and clothes, colour and filters, and editing and exporting many photos at once. All processing runs on your Mac.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with an Apple chip (M1 or later) and macOS 13 or later. Intel Macs are not supported. 8 GB of memory works; 16 GB or more makes background removal and large exports faster. The app's interface is in English, Vietnamese and Thai.
How do I install it?
Download the file with the Download for Mac button on the Retouch Studio page, open it and drag Retouch Studio into Applications. If macOS blocks the app the first time, right-click the app, choose Open, then choose Open again.
How do I activate it?
Open the app and click Activate. The app shows an 8-character code (for example BCDF-GHJK) and opens the activation page on yangopen.com. Sign in to your Yangopen account, check the name of your Mac and click Approve. The app unlocks in a few seconds. The code expires after 10 minutes; then get a new code in the app.
I see an activation request that is not mine.
Click Deny. Approve only when you got the code in Retouch Studio on your own Mac just now. If you did not ask for a code, change your Yangopen password.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. A new account gets a free 7-day trial when it activates its first Mac. No card is needed. Each account and each Mac gets one trial.
On how many Macs can I use one plan?
On 2 Macs at the same time. To use a third Mac, remove one in Account › Apps, or choose the Mac to replace on the activation page. Each account can remove up to 3 Macs in 30 days. Deactivating in the app on the old Mac does not count toward that number.
Does the app work without the internet?
Yes. The app checks your licence with yangopen.com every few days. Without a connection, it works for up to 5 days after the last check; then it needs the internet once to continue.
How do I pay?
Two ways. By card: the plan renews every month or every year until you cancel. By bank transfer (VND, scan a QR code): you pay in advance for a month or a year, with no automatic renewal; to renew, transfer again and the time is added to your end date. Buy in Account › Apps.
How do I cancel?
For a card plan: go to Account › Apps, click Manage card plan, then cancel. The plan works until the end of the paid period and you are not charged again. A bank-transfer plan does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
How do refunds work?
Within 14 days of a payment, e-mail [email protected] with your account e-mail: we refund that payment in full and end that period. After 14 days we do not refund the rest of a period; the plan works until its end date. If you were charged twice, we always refund the duplicate.
What happens when my plan ends?
The app stops opening new photos and stops exporting until you renew. Your photos on your Mac are not touched.
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. Photos, edits and saved looks stay on your Mac. The app goes online only to activate and to check your licence.
