Quick answers

How do I play Đèn Về Bến?

Tap a lantern. It flies along its light beam, and it can fly only if the beam reaches the edge of the board. A lantern of the same color as the boat at the pier boards the boat. A lantern of a different color waits on a bamboo post. A full boat sails away, and the next boat comes in. Waiting lanterns of the new boat's color board it by themselves. You win when all boats have sailed. You lose when a lantern needs a post and no post is free: the game shows “The pier is full!”. Tip: watch the boat queue on the right and release that color first.

Why does a lantern not fly when I tap it?

A lantern can fly only if its light beam reaches the edge of the board. If something blocks the beam, the lantern only wiggles. There is no penalty.

What are the mirrors, the glass and the other new things?

They appear level by level, and the game shows how each one works when it first appears. Bronze mirrors bend the flight path. Colored glass changes the color of a lantern that flies through it. Blue-glazed vases only take up space. Sleeping lanterns are gray and hide their color. You can tap them, and they wake when a lantern flies past next to them. Spinning lanterns have a gold ring and turn after each lantern you release. Boats have 2, 3 or 4 seats: 4-seat boats come from level 61 and 2-seat boats from level 81.

How do lives work?

You have a maximum of 5 lives. One life comes back each 30 minutes. Levels 1–10 do not cost a life. From level 11, a lost attempt costs 1 life.

What do the four helpers do?

Step Back undoes your last move. Carp Swim takes any one lantern, even a blocked one. Extra Post gives you one more waiting post. Firefly shows you a lantern to tap.

What are Lotus Petals, and how do I get more?

Lotus Petals are the in-game currency. You get Lotus Petals the first time you win each level. In the Shop, you can also buy Lotus Petals packs and a Starter Pack. Purchases are optional. Apple processes the payment and shows the price for your country. When you lose a level, the game can offer a Rescue Pack.

If I delete the game, do I lose my progress and Lotus Petals?

Yes. Your progress and your Lotus Petals are saved only on your iPhone. There is no account and no online save. When you delete the game, you lose your progress and all unused Lotus Petals. If you restore your iPhone from a backup, or move to a new iPhone with Apple's transfer tools, the game data in that backup normally comes with it.

Can I restore a purchase?

No. All packs are consumable: you use them up in the game. Neither we nor Apple can restore this type of purchase, for example after you delete the game or move to a new iPhone without a backup.

I paid but did not get my Lotus Petals. What can I do?

Send us an e-mail with the pack name, the date and the order ID from Apple's receipt e-mail. You can also ask Apple for a refund, as the next answer shows.

How do I get a refund for a purchase?

Purchases are handled by Apple, so we cannot see your purchase or refund it ourselves. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, select “I'd like to”, then “Request a refund”, select a reason, select the purchase and submit. Apple decides on each request.

Does the game need an internet connection?

Not to play. The game plays offline and works in Airplane Mode. Purchases need an internet connection, and Apple processes them.

Is the daily gift random?

No. The daily gift is free and follows a fixed 7-day cycle. If you miss a day, the chain does not break. The game has no loot boxes and no random paid rewards.

How do I change the language?

The game is in Vietnamese and English, and it follows the language of your iPhone. If your iPhone uses a different language, the game shows English. To select a language for this game only, open the Settings app of your iPhone, find Đèn Về Bến in the list of apps (under Apps on iOS 18 or later) and tap Language. That option shows only when your iPhone has more than one preferred language.

Which iPhones can run the game?

All iPhones with iOS 17 or later.

Can I get the game in Vietnam?

No. The game is in TestFlight testing and is coming soon to the App Store. It is not available on the App Store in Vietnam.

Does the game collect my data?

No. The App Store version sends no data off your iPhone. It has no account, no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. The game writes a play log to a file that stays on your iPhone. The privacy policy gives the details.

I test the game in TestFlight. How do I send the playtest log?

TestFlight builds have a “Send playtest log” button. Tap it, then select where to send the file in the iOS share sheet, for example Mail to [email protected]. The file leaves your iPhone only when you send it. It contains no name, e-mail address or device identifier.

How do I contact you?
