Đèn Về Bến is a puzzle game for iPhone. Tap a lantern, and it flies along its light beam. A lantern of the same color as the boat at the pier boards the boat. The game is free, with optional in-app purchases, and it is in TestFlight testing now. Not available on the App Store in Vietnam.

Level 1 with the tutorial hand: tap a lantern whose light beam reaches the edge

Play
in three steps

1. Tap a lantern whose light beam reaches the edge of the board. The lantern flies along its beam.
2. A lantern of the same color as the boat at the pier boards the boat. A lantern of a different color waits on a bamboo post.
3. A full boat sails away, and the next boat comes in. When all boats have sailed, you win. If a lantern needs a post and no post is free, the pier is full and you lose.

01 — Mirrors

Bronze mirrors
bend the path

Bronze mirrors bend the flight path. Follow the light beam to see where a lantern goes.

  • 01Light beamsA lantern can fly only if its beam reaches the edge. A blocked lantern only wiggles. There is no penalty.
  • 02Bronze mirrorsA mirror changes the direction of a lantern that flies into it.
  • 03Blue-glazed vasesVases only take up space on the board.

02 — Glass

Colored glass
changes the color

Later levels add colored glass and two new kinds of lanterns. The game shows how each one works when it first appears.

  • 01Colored glassA lantern that flies through the glass changes color. Its light beam also changes color at the glass.
  • 02Sleeping lanternsA sleeping lantern is gray and hides its color. You can tap it. It wakes when a lantern flies past next to it.
  • 03Spinning lanternsA lantern with a gold ring turns after each lantern you release.

03 — Boats

Boats with
2, 3 or 4 seats

A full boat sails away, and the next boat comes in. Waiting lanterns of the new boat's color board it by themselves.

  • 014-seat boatsFrom level 61. A boat sails only with 4 lanterns of its color.
  • 022-seat boatsFrom level 81. They sail fast, so the color at the pier changes often.
  • 03Bamboo postsA lantern of a different color waits on a post. Watch the boat queue on the right, and release that color first to keep posts free.

04 — Map

200 levels
along the river

The river map has 200 levels. An automatic solver checked each level, so you can win all of them.

  • 01Milestone chestsOne chest for each 10 levels.
  • 02Daily giftA fixed 7-day cycle, not random. If you miss a day, the chain does not break.
  • 03ShopLotus Petals packs and a Starter Pack. Purchases are optional and go through Apple.

05 — Rewards

Stars, Lotus Petals
and helpers

A win gives a maximum of 3 stars. The first win of each level also gives Lotus Petals, the in-game currency.

  • 02Four helpersStep Back, Carp Swim, Extra Post and Firefly.
  • 03Lives5 lives. One life comes back each 30 minutes. Levels 1–10 do not cost a life.
