Time Zone Converter

How to convert a time between time zones

Time Zone Converter shows the time now in many places at once, and turns a time in one place into the time in the others, daylight saving included, right in your browser.

    1. See the time now

Your own place is the first row, from your device's settings. The rows below are the time now in other places, kept current minute by minute.

    2. Add the places you need

Type a city or a country (“tokyo”, “japan”, “PST”) and pick it. Press × to remove a place.

    3. Pick a time, date and place

For example 9:00 on 30 August 2026 in London: each row says what time, day and date it is there then. Or drag the time bar.

    4. Send it

Press “Copy the times” to paste them into a message, or “Copy link” so whoever opens it sees the time you chose.

Also works inside Claude: ask it what a time in one place is in other places. Free. How to connect

    Frequently asked questions

Didn't find your answer? Ask Yangopen

    Is daylight saving time included?

Yes. Each place's time comes from the time zone database in your browser, which has the dates each country changes its clocks, so whatever date you pick, the times are right for that date.

How do I convert a time in another place?

In the In box, pick that place (London, say), then the time and the date. Each row below says what time, day and date it is there then. Add the place with Add a place first if it is not on the list. Press “Back to now” to return to the running clock.

How far apart are New York and London?

Usually five hours, London ahead. The United States and Europe change their clocks on different Sundays, so for about three weeks in March and one week around the end of October they are four hours apart. The tool shows the difference for the date you choose.

How do I send the times to someone?

Press “Copy link”: whoever opens it sees the time you chose and your places, with the time where they are. Or press “Copy the times” to paste a list of times into a message.

My city is not found. What can I do?

Type a large city nearby in the same time zone, the country, an abbreviation such as PST or JST, or an offset such as UTC+7. Besides about 100 named cities, the tool finds every time zone your browser knows.

Is anything sent to a server?

No. Everything is worked out in your browser. The places you add are kept only on this device, so they are there next time.
