Quick answers
How do I play Snip & Splash?
Swipe across a rope to cut it. Drop each monster into the water and keep every chick safe. If a chick falls, or if a monster floats away on a balloon, you lose. Each level gives a limited number of cuts, and the scissors at the top show how many are left. Level 1-1 shows how to play on the screen. The ? button on the home screen opens How to play, with every rule.
What are the rules in each world?
Each world adds one rule, and its first levels teach it. Meadow: one cut snaps every vine of the same color. Pine Forest: a dry vine (pale brown) holds one friend on its own; if it must hold two friends alone, it snaps. Seaside: a balloon lifts one friend; a chick with a balloon floats up to safety, and a monster with a balloon floats away, so you lose; swipe across a balloon to let it go. Snowy Peaks: a snow monster weighs as much as two friends, and an ice hook holds at most the number on it, then it breaks. Starry Night: a star hook falls after the number of cuts on it, and takes its ropes with it. Gray steel chains cannot be cut.
The levels are hard. Is that normal?
Yes. Snip & Splash is a logic puzzle. In the later levels of each world, the wrong first cut often looks right. Think a few cuts ahead. Restart a level at any time, at no cost. Use a hint when you need it.
How do I get 3 stars?
Use the fewest possible cuts. You get 3 stars for the fewest possible cuts, 2 stars for one more cut and 1 star for more cuts. After a win, the game shows how many cuts you used and the fewest possible.
I am stuck. Is there a hint?
Yes. Lose once or wait 30 seconds, and the Hint button appears. The hint lights up only the next cut. If you use a hint, that level gives 2 stars at most.
How do I open the next world?
Clear 15 levels in a world, and the next world opens. Worlds 1 and 2 (40 levels) are free. Worlds 3, 4 and 5 (60 levels) also need the Full Game.
What does the Full Game cost?
The game is free to download, and Worlds 1 and 2 are free. The Full Game is one in-app purchase that unlocks Worlds 3, 4 and 5. It costs $2.99 in the United States, and Apple shows the price for your country before you buy. You pay once. There is no subscription and there are no ads.
Why does the game ask a multiplication question?
It is a question for grown-ups, so that a child cannot pay by accident. Before any payment, the game asks you to multiply two numbers, for example 7 × 8. Type the answer and tap OK. If the answer is not correct, the game asks a different question.
What happens with Ask to Buy?
If Ask to Buy is on for your child's Apple Account, the game shows that the purchase waits for a parent. When a parent approves it, the worlds open by themselves.
How do I restore the Full Game on a new iPhone?
Use the same Apple Account, open the game and tap Restore purchases. It is on the unlock screen and in Settings. Restoring needs an internet connection.
If I delete the game, do I lose my progress?
Yes. Your stars and unlocked levels are saved only on your iPhone. There is no account and no online save. Your purchase is not lost: after you install the game again, tap Restore purchases. If you restore your iPhone from a backup, the game's progress in that backup normally comes with it.
How do I reset my progress?
Open Settings in the game and tap Reset progress. This erases all stars and unlocked levels, and you cannot undo it. Your purchase is kept.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so we cannot see your purchase or refund it ourselves. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, select “I'd like to”, then “Request a refund”, select a reason, select the purchase and submit. Apple decides on each request.
Does the game need an internet connection?
Not to play. The game plays fully offline. To buy or restore the Full Game, it needs an internet connection to the App Store.
How do I change the language or turn off the sound?
The game is in English and Vietnamese. At first, it uses Vietnamese if Vietnamese is the first language of your iPhone, and English in all other cases. To change it, open Settings in the game and select Language. Sound and Vibration are in the same Settings.
Which iPhones can run the game?
All iPhones with iOS 16 or later.
Can I get the game in Vietnam?

Does the game collect my data?
