Effective date: 4 October 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers the iPhone game Lantern of Văn Lang (shown as “Văn Lang” on the Home Screen) and the related support pages run by Yangopen (“we”).
2. What the game saves on your iPhone
To work, the game keeps two things in its own private storage on your device:
- Your progress: coins, Village Hall upgrades, unlocked heroes and stages, achievements, records and statistics such as the number of runs and your best times. It is kept in a small file.
- Your settings: music, sound effects, volume, haptics and screen shake, kept in the app's preferences.
None of this is personal information. It contains no name, no Apple Account, no contacts, no location and no device identifier.
3. What leaves your iPhone: nothing
The game has no network access. It does not send your progress, your settings or anything else to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see how you play. It contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
4. Permissions
The game does not ask for your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location or notifications, and it does not ask for permission to track you.
5. Backups made by your iPhone
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, or transfer your data to a new iPhone, that backup may include the game's progress and settings, as it does for other apps. The backup is yours and is handled by Apple. We cannot access it.
6. Buying the game
The game is sold through the App Store, and Apple handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your name, your e-mail address or your payment details. Apple shows developers only totals, such as the number of sales per country. If you chose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may also show us anonymous crash and usage statistics. They do not identify you, and you can switch this off under Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
7. Deleting your data
- To erase your progress, open the game and choose Settings > Reset Progress. This cannot be undone.
- To erase everything, including your settings, delete the game from your iPhone.
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete, correct or export.
8. Children's privacy
The game does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It has no chat, no links to the web, no ads and no purchases inside the game.
9. If you write to us
If you send an e-mail to [email protected], we receive your e-mail address and whatever you write. We use them only to answer you. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not pass your message on to anyone else. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.
10. Changes and contact
If a later version of the game handles data differently, we will update this page, the policy shown inside the game and the effective date above no later than the release of that version. Inside the game, this policy is on the About screen. Send questions about privacy to [email protected].
