Frequently asked questions
Not answered here? Ask Yangopen
Are my pictures uploaded?
No. The pictures are read and put into the PDF in your browser, on your own device. The page sends no picture anywhere.
Which pictures can I add?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP, and HEIC photos in Safari on iPhone and Mac. Up to 300 pictures, each up to 50 MB.
Will phone photos come out sideways?
No. A photo the camera stored sideways is turned upright, as it shows on your phone. You can also turn any picture with its button.
Is the quality kept?
A JPG or PNG that you do not turn goes into the PDF unchanged. With “Make the file smaller”, each picture is reduced to at most 2000 pixels on its long side, which is still sharp on a printed A4 page.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 for documents to print or send in Vietnam and most countries, Letter for the United States, and “Same as the picture” for pages exactly the size of each picture. A wide picture gets a landscape page.
