PhaseSnap / Terms

Clear terms for
a local field record

These terms apply when you download, purchase or use PhaseSnap on iPhone.

Effective date: August 16, 2026

1. Scope and acceptance

PhaseSnap is an iPhone application for organizing field photos, project context, scheduled work, progress comparisons and on-device exports. By downloading, purchasing or using the app, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple Media Services terms.

2. Your projects and device

You keep ownership of the photos, notes and project information you create or import. You are responsible for protecting the iPhone, maintaining any backups you need and controlling who can access the device or exported files.

3. Lawful content

You must have the right to capture, store and share the content you place in PhaseSnap, especially when it includes people, private property, addresses, phone numbers, plates or customer information. Do not use the app to collect or distribute content unlawfully.

4. Device context is not independent proof

Time, GPS, address, photo metadata and map information can be wrong, approximate, stale, changed or unavailable. PhaseSnap labels the available source and preserves original-file fingerprints, but it does not authenticate a scene, uploader, location, time, legal chain of custody or court admissibility.

5. Exports and sharing

Review every photo, note, metadata field, PDF, ZIP package and comparison image before sharing it. You choose the recipient and destination through the system share sheet. Yangopen does not control how a recipient stores, copies or forwards a file.

6. Basic plan and Lifetime Pro

The Basic plan supports up to 3 active projects and 10 photos per project. Lifetime Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase that unlocks unlimited projects and photos, ZIP packages and PDF reports without PhaseSnap branding. Progress comparison and branded PDF reports stay available on the Basic plan. Apple displays the local price and handles payment, refunds, revocation and purchase restoration.

7. Availability and updates

Features, system requirements and compatible devices can change as PhaseSnap is updated. Keep a separate copy of important reports before updating, removing the app or replacing the device. Yangopen may change or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or platform compatibility.

8. Intellectual property

PhaseSnap, its interface, code, product name and Yangopen-provided content belong to Yangopen or its licensors. The App Store license permits personal or organizational use of the app; it does not permit copying, reverse engineering, reselling or unauthorized distribution except where applicable law says otherwise.

9. Limits of the tool and your responsibility

PhaseSnap is a documentation tool, not a substitute for engineering inspection, safety records, legal advice, contractual acceptance or professional judgment. To the extent permitted by law, you remain responsible for reviewing records before relying on them for business, technical or legal decisions.
